Open for tours daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day
Please enter the museum upon arrival and register at the Trading Post counter. Staff will be available to take you on a personal tour of the Fort.
Site Hours:
Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 12 noon - 4:00 p.m.
Tours for school groups and bus tours are also available after May 1st or before October 1st by appointment, only. Please call the local Chamber of Commerce office at (507) 847-3867 for additional details and to book your group tour.
WWW (Worship, Word & Watermelon) Services - This event is CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19. It is sponsored cooperatively with the local Jackson County Ministerial Association. Held during the summer, on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. the bells of the Delafield Church ring, to call one and all to an ecumenical church service followed by fellowship and watermelon, compliments of the sponsoring church congregation.
THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19 - August 22nd and 23rd for the annual Pioneer Days at Fort Belmont! Tomahawk and knife throwing demonstrations, blacksmithing, lefse making and other displays of pioneer living and trades of the 1800s era will be at hand. Horse-drawn wagon rides will take you along the prairie grasses and various buildings on the Fort grounds. Tours will be available both, Saturday and Sunday.
