THIS YEAR'S PIONEER DAYS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19 AND STATE RESTRICTIONS
The Pioneer Days event provides an opportunity to gather with friends of Fort Belmont and step back in time to early days of Jackson County. Blacksmithing, spinning and loom demonstrations, lefse making and other trades of the 1800s era will be on display. Horse-drawn wagon rides provide an experience of early day transportation. Various authors on early history of the area will give presentations throughout the day and are available for discussions. The Fort will be open for tours on both days, Saturday and Sunday.
